( February 6, 2013 ) Braeger will join the NSU football program in the fall, coming from White Bear Lake High School in White Bear Lake, Minn. As a two-year starter and captain, Cody earned All-Conference, runner-up conference Defensive MVP, and team defensive MVP honors in 2012. He led the Bears to a 6-3 season in 2012. Braeger secured 136 tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, one recovered fumble and five sacks in his career. He is also a three year starter on the baseball team. Coach Dosch on Braeger: "Cody is an active, athletic linebacker who played a key role on White Bear Lake's defense. His toughness and physical style fits in well to our 3-4 defense." |
