Betsey Johnson to receive CFDA lifetime award

Betsey Johnson -- the fashion designer known for her over-the-top clothing, cartwheels at the end of runway shows and her appearance last year as a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars” -- will be this year’s recipient of the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.
