It’s probably safe to say that Tyler Perry and his four TV series on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network probably won’t win any Emmy Awards.

The shows -- “Love My Neighbor,” “For Better or Worse,” “The Haves and the Have Nots” and “If Loving You Is Wrong” were also bypassed at this year’s NAACP Image Awards, with zero nominations.

Well, if Hollywood isn’t going to praise you, there’s no harm in praising yourself.

The filmmaker and producer is patting himself on his own back for the four shows, which have attracted a sizable audience to OWN. And Winfrey is giving him a big hand.

In what is being called a “prime-time television event,” Perry is hosting a “star-studded” special from his home to pay tribute to himself and his shows. The “Too Darn Hot Party,” scheduled for March 17, will “celebrate the success of his historic programming partnership with Oprah Winfrey,” and honor the various shows’ casts.

“From the intense pre-event planning to candid moments with celebrity guest attendees (such as Oprah Winfrey) to a surprise performance by superstar Mary J. Blige, Tyler grants OWN’s cameras unprecedented access to all of the festivities,” a press release said.

Other guests will include Steve Wonder, Jennifer Hudson and Loretta Devine.
