Memorial Day weekend packs a punch with Joe Rogan, the UFC on the card in Las Vegas

Ultimate Fighting Championship weekends in Las Vegas always bring a little chaos to the city, and for Memorial Day weekend, that means a card replete with some of the heavy hitters of the fighting world and a stand-up gig with Joe Rogan.

The comedian and UFC commentator takes the KÁ Theatre stage at the MGM Grand on Friday, May 22. His latest comedy special “Joe Rogan: Rocky Mountain High” debuted on Comedy Central in November 2014.

Rogan is more frequently seen as the color commentator the the UFC, a gig he picked up in 2002. He also has his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” that covers topics including comedy, science, social activism and mixed martial arts.

Tickets for Rogan’s show start at $39.99.

Saturday, May 23, brings UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones taking on No. 1 ranked Anthony “Rumble” Johnson at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The card includes middleweight champion Chris Weidman fighting “The Phenom” Vitor Belfort as well as Donald Cerrone, Andre Arlovski, Travis Browne and Joseph Benavidez.
