1969 World Series: Games 2, 4, 5

Two batters later, the Mets won the game, 2-1, when Orioles pitcher Pete Richert made a throwing error. After jumping out to a 3-0 lead in Game 5, the Orioles allowed five unanswered runs in a series-clinching 5-3 loss on Oct. 16, 1969. The Orioles also lost, 2-1, in Game 2 when the Mets scored the winning run in the top of the ninth.
