Much of that was because of the historic season of closer Fernando Rodney (above). The crooked hat-wearing, arrow-pointing right-hander had 48 saves and an 0.60 ERA, best ever for a reliever. The Rays also have veterans Joel Peralta and Kyle Farnsworth in their pen, as well as young lefty Jake McGee.
