Scott is no stranger to dealing with injuries, but his sore calf is expected to be healed enough for him to play on Opening Day.
The 2010 Most Valuable Oriole needed shoulder surgery in 2011, and he dealt with back issues last year. He batted .229 with 14 HRs and 55 RBIs in 96 games in his first season with the Rays. That's probably the level of production to anticipate from the 34-year-old at this point in his career.
