The work table with paints and brushes of Pop artist Peter Max is seen in his New York studio. Max was holding an event for the press to show off seven portraits he created of Sir Paul McCartney to commemorate McCartney's 70th birthday. Max's cosmic characters painted against bold, vibrant colors, and cosmic landscapes were among the most influential graphic source of the 1960s.
