Grimsvoetn volcano

A cloud of smoke and ash is seen over the Grimsvoetn volcano on Iceland. Volcanic ash from Iceland is expected to reach Germany's North Sea coast late on May 24, 2011 forecasters here said, citing information from the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre at Britain's Met Office. "We have been informed that there will be concentrations of ash of between 0.2 and 2.0 milligrams in northern areas this evening or tonight," meteorologist Marcus Beyer from the German Weather Service (DWD) told AFP.
