Interleague elixir: The Orioles had already started to pull out of their lengthy slump with another uplifting series win at Fenway Park, but they found their groove against the two National League clubs that have visited Oriole Park on this homestand. They enter Thursday night's series finale against Erik Bedard and the Pirates with a 6-2 record in interleague play and have won all three series so far against NL opponents. They're at or near the wrong end of the ledger in several important statistical categories, but returned to 10 games over .500 with their fourth straight victory. Now it gets tougher, with road series against the Braves and Mets before returning home next weekend to close out this year's interleague extravaganza against the red-hot Nationals.
