<b>CON: Consistency in the rotation</b><br> <br> Justin Verlander is about as good as it gets at the top of the rotation, but the Tigers' other power arms have struggled at times this season. Max Scherzer (above) and Doug Fister have both seen their ERAs rise from last year rise, and opponents have hit .320 against Rick Porcello. There's plenty of potential there, and maybe those numbers will trend in a better direction down the stretch, but right now that has to be a question mark if Detroit is going to hold off the rest of the pack (or make a run at the AL Central-leading White Sox).
