The measureables: 6-2, 220 pounds, 2nd season. The numbers: 300 of 516 completions (58.1 percent), 3,398 yards, 20 TDs, 13 INTs, 80.4 rating in 2011. Against the Ravens: (0-2), 46 of 89 completions (51.7 percent), 605 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs, 63.2 rating. The challenge: Some pundits questioned the Bengals wisdom behind spending a second-round pick in the 2011 draft on Dalton, who quickly rewarded the organization by replacing the New England Patriots Tom Brady in the Pro Bowl. The only rookie to pass for at least 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns and win at least eight games, Dalton has been lauded for his accuracy and his mobility. Arm strength has been a question mark, but after connecting with wide receiver A.J. Green for a 50-yard touchdown , Dalton told reporters, My arm feels great, and you can tell everybody that its not even close to what Ive got if I need it. The quote: He has so much upside. He can spin the ball, he knows its placement. Hes got great receivers, hes got a great offensive line. Hes accurate. I think he has all the makings of a great quarterback. He kind of reminds me of Joe [Flacco]. Obviously, Im glad we got Joe. I would take Joe any day, but hes one of those guys. Hes a great quarterback. Hes got the ability to read defenses, hes got the ability to audible at the line. He has great receivers and that makes his job a lot easier. ... . Ravens cornerback Cary Williams, who has seven of his 18 passes defensed against Dalton.
