At an art show opening at Sascha's 527, Baltimore jewelry designer Laurie Flannery, 55, shows how her talent for composition goes beyond the accessories she creates. The Catonsville resident wore a brown Bordeaux ruffled cardigan over a matte silver sequined tunic from the Free People store, with a denim ruffle skirt from Anthropologie, gray ribbed Hue tights from Nordstrom and tasseled taupe faux-suede Impo boots. The stainless-steel and nickel necklace, bangle bracelets, pink quartz ring and big copper ring are her creations, while the large horn ring was a Watermelon Sugar find. Her "vintage" Perry Ellis black bag was new when she bought it at Saks Fifth Avenue in the 1980's. Flannery describes her style as "modern boho eclectic." Needless to say, her fashion passions are accessories and jewelry.
