38 women have come forward to accuse director James Toback of sexual harassment

"Carrie" (2013)

I get why "Carrie" is popular: telekenetic underdog teen girl, crazy-ass mom, Stephen King's First Big Thing. But wasn't Brian De Palma¿s 1976 version with an excellent Sissy Spacek enough? Plus it had John Travolta in full douchebag mode! Adding to my issue with the remake: Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has been brought on as the screenwriter. His last gig: Rewriting the disastrous Broadway show "Spider-Man: Turn of the Dark."
