He'll open the 2012-2013 series on Oct. 16 with a talk about the challenge of globalization.

Meyerhoff Symphony Hall

. The Bowles talk is 8 p.m. on a Thursday. Tickets are sold by series subscription only, with prices ranging from $265 to $395 per person.
