Plan to be aired for trimming city's climate impact: A draft strategy, prepared by a 25-member advisory committee, ticks off more than three dozen ideas for reducing the city's carbon footprint, some as simple as promoting more biking, transit use and walking to planting more trees.

Jury awards Waverly family $55 million in Hopkins malpractice case: The family argued hospital workers were negligent in their care providing an emergency C-section after an unsuccessful attempt to deliver the baby at home with the help of a midwife.

Report identifies $2.4 billion in necessary Baltimore school building upgrades: The highly anticipated "Jacobs Report" is the blueprint of a large-scale facilities plan that could see dozens of city schools either close or be rebuilt. 

Funeral planned for victim in cannibalism case: The funeral for the man who was killed in Harford County, and had his organs eaten, has been scheduled for July 7 in Ghana, according to his sister's Facebook page.
