Allison Nyce, 38, likes a "classic" style, but she knows how to make it visually interesting with subtle touches. When going out to dinner at the new Brio Tuscan Grille, the northern Virginia resident went for a white cotton batwing sweater from Ann Taylor Loft that also had a slight shirt-tail hem. She layered it over a white Gap camisole and black AG Adriano Goldschmied skinny corduroy pants. She found the cords and the tan leather Seychelles flat riding boots at a boutique in SoHo, New York City. The commercial real estate development executive assistant added long, dangly silver disc earrings from Charming Charlie, a silver and crystal bracelet from the Swarovski store, and a watch from the Guess store. Her tan linen and leather Deena and Ozzy handbag was an Urban Outfitters purchase. Although accessories are a particular favorite of hers, Nyce says whenever she goes shopping, she always seems to buy more tank tops and camisoles. "I layer them under everything and you can never have enough."
