Joan Rumenap is director of special projects for the Abilities Network. But, this 51-year-old Otterbein resident also likes to make her personal style a special project. "I'm eclectic. I like to have fun with things that look different. I like a style of my own." When we "glimpsed" Rumenap at a Vasarri fashion show benefiting the House of Ruth at the Ritz-Carlton Residences, she was owning a breezy summer look in a multicolor print chiffon Elan tunic that she found in a shop at Rehoboth Beach. She wore the tunic with a pair of cropped white silk Ann Taylor pants, flat bronze leather sandals from The Gap, gold triple hoop earrings from a shop in New Market, a turquoise chip stretch cuff bracelet from New Mexico, a silver Tiffany heart bracelet, mirrored aviator sunglasses from Nordstrom and a "Pepto Bismol" pink pebbled leather handbag, also from Rehoboth Beach.
