At the Frederick Road Friday concert in Catonsville, Dave Aylsworth hit just the right notes in his "pretty classic" style. "I'm 60, so I've got to be somewhat retro." He also had a certain image to maintain, as dad to Conor Aylsworth, a member of the band Against The Grain, which was performing that night. The Catonsville resident sported a moss and white plaid Marc Edwards sport shirt and white khaki Izod shorts -- both from Ross. Aylsworth picked up his straw fedora at a shop in Rehoboth Beach, and his copper-rimmed prescription sunglasses at Pearle Vision. His Alpine Design sandals were a Sports Authority purchase. His gold ring displayed his family crest. "And my I.D. bracelet was my father's, from the Navy in World War II. He lost his dog tags swimming in the Mediterranean." Aylsworth works as a credit analyst for One Main Financial during the day. But, performing as a member of the Irish band, Fiddlin' Around, also affects his choice of clothing in his leisure time. "I like casual shirts that are silk, knit or light cotton. Things that drape ... because I can wear them when my band plays."
