Hillary Shaffer, 24, likes a "high fashion" look, especially when it comes to celebrating her birthday with friends at Pazo. "I went to an art school, so I like to take different styles and make them my own. I like to make a statement." The Pikesville-based interior designer and part-time model certainly did so in a ruby bandeau top from Bebe under a black cotton jacket with ruffled bell sleeves and front from Forever 21, with a black sailor-style high-waisted jersey pencil skirt she's had for a while. Shaffer added some strappy sandals from Ann Taylor Loft, a rhinestone-embellished Kessaris watch from a Towson Town Center kiosk, a red pashmina from a New York City street vendor and silver hoop earrings borrowed from her mom. The crystal pendant she bought at the Swarovski store is her favorite purchase.
