Maureen Regan, 27, came to the 401 Cocktail Party at Baltimore's Center Plaza in a signature style that's "classic with a touch of vintage." Her cotton stretch shirt dress in a color that's "a cross between canary and mustard" came from the vintage-influenced web retailer modcloth.com. Then, the State of Maryland health policy analyst added a vintage skinny black belt that had been her grandmother's. The Arc de Triomphe pendant also came from her grandmother. It was a charm on a charm bracelet she had. Her flat black leather sandals were a Forever 21 purchase. The Mount Vernon resident "stole" the black cross-body envelope bag from her sister. Her Marc Jacobs sunglasses were a gift. Although, Regan says she generally goes for a "classic, chic line," she does covet the designs of one not-so-simple designer. "One of my favorite books is Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty." If she could afford his over-the-top pieces, would she wear them? "Absolutely."
