Kate Hendrikson, 25, says her style is "traditional with hints of retro." So it was a piece of cake for her to put together a "Mad Men" look for this year's themed awards dinner for the American Advertising Federation of Baltimore at the Sheraton Baltimore North in Towson. "I love pin-up girls. So when they said this year's [event] was 'Mad Men'-themed, I said, who needs a dress? I've got 12!" says the Planit public relations and social influence specialist. The Federal Hill resident simply pulled on a white polka-dot black dress with a vintage-y peplum that she'd ordered from shabbyapple.com. Her black suede almond-toe pumps with hidden platforms were a Bakers purchase. Her white framed sunglasses came from Forever 21, and her cherry patent DKNY handbag was borrowed from her roommate.
