Jennifer Troy, 43, showed some retro flair in her "timeless but fresh" style, as she arrives at the Baltimore Love Project opening night party at Creative Alliance. The Bolton Hill resident wore a gray polka-dot Comptoir des Cotonniers dress that she bought in Paris. "It's a fun brand. It's very relatable. It's not fussy." Her T-strap wedge sandals came from Banana Republic. She bought her black cross-body bag at the Coach store, after she wore out its predecessor. The Baltimore-based IT operations manager added a silver cuff from Tilghman Traditional Annapolis Jewelers -- "it was the first gift my husband gave me, in 1990" -- an enameled copper disc pendant from etsy.com and silver ring earrings that she bought at a craft show at the Bryn Mawr School. "I try to be environmentally [aware] in my purchases. I try to be a thoughtful consumer. ... My goal is to buy something, keep it forever, update it, wear it out or give it away to the Baltimore Free Store."
