Perhaps her neighborhood of Hampden has influenced the personal style of Miriam Hyson, 53. The Johns Hopkins Hospital department of plastic surgery supervisor describes her style as "modern vintage." As she attends SMG Architects' 30th Anniversary Party at The Food Market, Hyson models a modern chartreuse silk chiffon V-neck sleeveless dress from J. Crew to which she's added several vintage pieces: a triple strand chartreuse stone, pearl and gold necklace; a black lace shawl; black leather handbag; and hollow gold hoop earrings -- all of which she found at Hampden vintage clothing stores. Her vintage black satin pointy toe Versani shoes were a gift. "I like the 1950s. So I always look for something to wear from the '50s."
