Berthe Ford arrived at the Hunt Valley Inn for the Toast & Roast of Tom Hall in her signature stand-out artistic style. The editor of the Journal of the International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society - where she also serves as president - was an international vision in red and black. The North Baltimore resident wore a red Issey Miyake silk shell she'd purchased in New York City under a black Issey Miyake silk jacket that she got in Japan, which she'd paired with slim black pants that she bought in Paris. The Charles Jourdan store in Paris is also where she got her triangular red shoulder bag. She picked up her black crocodile and suede booties in Rabat, Morocco, and her geometric silver necklace in New York City. Ford found her black glass flower and silver ring at the Bullseye Glass Co. gallery in Portland, Ore. Her red and black button earrings were a gift from a friend in Switzerland. Ford says she rarely shops when she's at home. When I'm traveling is when I'm looking and open to other things.
