Sofia Rutka, 25, brought an artful style to the eighth annual Transmodern Festival, when we "glimpsed" her opening night at Maryland Art Place building on Saratoga Street. The MAP program manager wore a vintage Nicole Miller beige linen knit top that had been her mother's in the 1980s, which she'd paired with some very current gray skinny pants from the Gap and a pair of brown leather Miss Sixty cage wedges from endless.com. The Upper Fells Point resident added some shine with a brown beaded and sequined AOS envelope bag and a beaded cuff bracelet, both of which were gifts. "Usually I do tomboy clothes with some flashy accessories. I love trendy shoes, with everything else sort of simple." One of Rutka's fashion tricks? "I like to borrow things from people, like my little brother. I steal his blazers."
