Carter Bryant gets creative when it comes to her personal style. "I like to mix prints and colors a lot. I like to take something simple and add a print or a pop of color." You wouldn't expect anything different from someone who's going into her senior year as an apparel design major at the Rhode Island School of Design. We "glimpsed" the 21-year-old White Hall resident at her summer internship job at Jill Andrews Gowns in the Castle at Keswick office building in Hampden. Bryant started with a black cotton-knit sleeveless V-neck dress from Old Navy, and added a leopard print cotton cardigan from Ann Taylor. She provided pops of color with red suede ankle-strap peep-toe ballet flats from a shop in Providence, R.I., and a chartreuse braided suede choker from a local designer. She topped it off with a taupe Nordstrom brand cross-body handbag with a chain and leather strap.
