Rachel Rosenberg, 26, says she's not very trendy. "I like things that are classic. But, I like to add a playful edge," says the Ayers Saint Gross interior designer. On this particular day, the Federal Hill resident had started with a white cotton scoop neck H&M T-shirt and an orange and cream cross-stitch patterned pencil skirt from J. Crew. Then, she added brown flat gladiator flats from the Bottega Veneta store in New York City. A gold, black and teal pendant that she found in a Tacoma park vintage store added more visual interest. Her Rolex watch was a gift. She bought her white enamel and gold bangle at the Hermes store in New York City. Rosenberg says she bought her brown-trimmed cream leather handbag at the Mulberry store about five years ago, when she was living in London. "Mulberry was down the street [from my home]. It was dangerous." But, that purchase -- along with other accessories -- pays off. "I'm big on accessories. I invest more in them than in clothing."
