Glimpsed at Work: Matthew Cook

You never know what youre going to get with Matthew Cook. He said he can either be super preppy or a total slacker depending on the day. I like to dress for the occasion, the 29-year-old Fells Point resident said when we spotted him at Social Toaster, where he works as the companys CIO. Thank goodness he was channeling the preppy look when we met him. We liked his willingness to layer his ensemble. His blue sweater vest by J. Crew atop a Nordstrom brand blue striped button-down allowed his Joseph Abboud tie, which he purchased at Mens Wearhouse, to pop. His Gap jeans showed off his chocolate Sperry topsiders. His Skagen watch completed the look. Let your girlfriend buy your clothes, he advised.
