Berkeley transplant Sheri Rose brought a good amount of her west cost style with her to Baltimore. But the 28-year-old post doctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University is already mixing in some pieces to adjust to the colder weather of the Northeast. When we spotted her at the Johns Hopkins University bus stop near the Peabody Conservatory, she explained that she purchased her shoes from Zappos, which offset her fantastic slacks, which she purchased at a vintage store in Berkeley. Her turtleneck was a recent addition from The Limited in Baltimore. She explained that her boyfriend gave her her Calvin Klein jacket to prepare her for the colder weather in Baltimore. "He told me he couldn't send me here without a jacket," she said with a laugh. Rose said her current form of dress is a departure from her past. "I used to dress goth and then art deco mod," she said. "I'm trying to incorporate those elements into my current classic style. And I'm trying to wear less black."
