When Michele Poet, 36, isn't working as the art director at Devaney & Associates in Towson, she's often "crawling around the floor" with her 14-month-old son. That's the reason she cites for her style that's "something simple with a twist." "I can't wear heels. I mostly wear dresses and leggings," says the Abingdon resident. Here she is at work in a purple V-neck empire waist Mossimo dress from Target and tattoo print leggings from Dots Fashions. She's added a pair of Merona pewter braided leather flat thong sandals from Target, a white enamel flower pendant on a multi-strand seed bead necklace that she made, and a Seiko watch "that's probably 10 years old." Her purple triple flower decorated headband was made by her colleague, Kolleen Kilduff. And her black suede slouch bag with steel studding in the shape of a peace sign? "Every year, my mother-in-law buys me a bag for Christmas. And I always choose one from Lucky."
