Marjorie Cota, 50, vice president of market development for Mind Over Machines, dressed for the Yellow Party with its color theme in mind.
Her style: "Modern chic."
Her outfit: A print halter dress from BCBG. Yellow patent slingback peep-toe Guess pumps and a yellow faux ostrich Mod by Design clutch the Annapolis resident borrowed from a friend. Her gold bangles and big hoop earrings came from Claire's.
Trends she's into: "Skinny jeans. Platform high heels. Lucky Brand has these great flowy tops."
What she can't get enough of: "Shoes: Steve Madden and Jessica Simpson. ... And Vera Wang they're worth every penny."
What she's not into: "Grunge, that unkempt look."
She's passionate about: Baltimore's sports teams. She loves to dress in team colors, which is the reason she embraced the party's theme of yellow, the color of Livestrong's wristbands. "Earlier today, I was all in purple in support of the Ravens." In fact, she was about to restyle her iPhone in a new purple cover waiting at home.
More tech favorites: She "couldn't live" without her iPad. "I FaceTime with my mom and dad all the time, and most people who know me know that. When I call and leave a message, they don't call me back. They'll
FaceTime me back."
Favorite time-waster: "I have very little time, so it's probably getting my nails done."
