Most of the eating in "The Artist" is at the breakfast table, but the"Citizen Kane"-inspired breakfast vignettes in "The Artist," are less about crullers than a crumbling marriage. The restaurant scene with Peppy's interview, filmed on location at Cicada in Los Angeles, nicely illustrates a style of power dining that Baltimore hasn't seen since the Polo Grill. But Chazz: A Bronx Original , the actor Chazz Palminteri's restaurant-sized letter to his home borough is sealed with a kiss of Hollywood glamour. There are marvelous sight lines, a dramatic staircase entrance and tucked in the back of the main dining room, Chazz's Table, a power booth fit for John Goodman's studio boss.
