With a personal style that's "modern classic," Emily Villarreal, 26, was a good fit for the National Association of Catering Executives "Uncorked!" party, which was held at the American Visionary Art Museum. The co-owner of Boutique Events and her partner, Jean Mayer, had designed a table for the evening's theme, "A Night of Mystery," designed around Amelia Earhart, the pioneering pilot who disappeared in 1937 while attempting to fly solo around the world. "I dressed to look like an old-fashioned pilot." But the White Marsh resident found plenty in her own closet to make it work. She put together a khaki cargo shirt dress from Ann Taylor Loft; a black, gray and white print scarf Mayer found for her; beige canvas Naughty Monkey ruched and buckled boots from Nordstrom; a Louis Vuitton clutch that was a gift; and those most important aviator Marc Jacobs aviator sunglasses from Solstice. Her favorite part of her outfit also reveals one of her fashion faves -- boots. "I love to wear them with jeans and shorts. Everybody knows I love boots."
