Just because you have to wear black at work doesn't mean you have to be boring. Just ask Amy Todd, an assistant hair stylist at DK Salon in Mount Washington. The 20-year-old Hampden resident loves to ramp up her outfits with fun hair accessories in her urban, very modern style. I'm always wearing headbands. It's low-maintenance, but attractive and fun. The day we glimpsed Todd at work, she was wearing a leopard satin headband that she'd found at Forever 21. It capped off her cool outfit of a gray cotton-knit H&M Henley tunic -- belted with a wide black stretch belt from Anthropologie that featured a tan leather buckle -- over black leggings from Express. Her double-buckled rust suede flat Naughty Monkey slouch boots came from the Von Maur department store in her hometown of Omaha, Neb.. She found her big watch -- that featured a butterfly on the face and a crystal embellished bezel -- at the Fossil store, and her 0-gauge spacer earrings at Hot Topic.
