The black basket in foreground is one of those that will be lowered into the Bay to grow the oysters. Johnny Shockley's boat will lift the baskets that, filled with market size oysters, could weigh hundreds of pounds. emptied onto a conveyor belt the oysters will be washed in a drum before being returned to the water for further growth or harvested for marketing.
