One of the bills presented to lawmakers in <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100602010000" title="Annapolis" href="/topic/us/maryland/anne-arundel-county/annapolis-PLGEO100100602010000.topic">Annapolis</a> would mandate window replacement in any home where blood tests reveal a child has elevated lead levels. There are several bills addressing the lead poisoning problem.
