When it comes to her style, Rachel Mulherin, 26, said, "I don't like anything too 'pretty.' Nothing too prim, proper and preppy." The Canton resident showed off her self-described "classic with an edge" style at the "4th Annual Hope in the Harbor Gala" at the American Visionary Art Museum in a black faux-leather and white ponte knit color-blocked dress from H&M, accented with a triple strand statement necklace from her own "Rachel Mulherin" line of jewelry that she layered with a long gold chain from Nordstrom. She added nude patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps from Neiman Marcus, a black quilted leather Marc Jacobs "Single Bag" from Nordstrom, her roommate's stud earrings and her mom's engagement ring. Needless to say, Mulherin - who also works as marketing coordinator for Stegman & Co. - is a big fan of accessorizing. "I splurge on shoes, handbags and jewelry," she said, and wears her own jewelry designs about half the time. "But, I'm also a sucker for J. Crew and Kate Spade jewelry," she added.
