Photographing fish

Maureen Anderson, left, a biologist with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and her colleague, Adam Wose, a natural resources technician, photograph a dead fish on the Sassafras river near the agency's continuous monitoring site at Budd's Landing. They said there is a "probable" algae bloom in the area but that this particular fish did not appear to be affected by it since it did not have lesions that are typically associated with an algae bloom. It's probably just a regular dead fish, but they felt it was prudent to photograph it.
