Zoo: Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

Roughly the same size as the National Zoo, the Maryland Zoo is also within city limits. Situated in Druid Hill Park, the Maryland Zoo boasts a lion, giraffes and elephants. Faced with financial problems several years ago, the zoo was forced to scale back its exhibits.
