'Wine in the Winter'

About 200 folks descended on the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum for the second annual "Wine In the Winter" event, put together by Emerging Leaders United of the United Way of Central Maryland. ELU is a society of young professionals -- age 40 and younger -- who each give $260 a year to the United Way.

Pictured above, from left, are Jennifer Lockhart, ELU committee member; Laura Gidley, ELU committee member; and Benjamin Jordan, ELU co-chair, who were among those who put the event together.

The get-together provided an opportunity for ELU members to meet and mingle, while sampling various wines and specialties of the Museum's resident restaurant, Waterfront Kitchen.
