Many are rooting for Brian Roberts (above right) to make a complete comeback from a long series of injuries that have threatened to prematurely end his career, and things are going well so far. It's obvious by Roberts' upbeat attitude that he feels that he's ready to make a run at the American League Comeback Player of the Year Award. This is one case where the WBC-extended spring exhibition season is a big plus, as Roberts will get plenty of time to get ready for the rigors of his old job. If he is unable to play full-time, the Orioles likely would turn to Alexi Casilla (above center) to share the load with Ryan Flaherty in reserve.
