That one is still in flux, but it looks as if designated hitter/infielder/outfielder/random pitcher Chris Davis (pictured) will take over for Reynolds at first base, hoping to improve on his defense from 2012. If he can't, the Orioles have Ishikawa as Plan B. The former San Francisco Giant and Milwaukee Brewer can pick it, but he's never shown the offensive firepower normally expected of a first baseman.
Second base is a bigger mystery -- and we'll address it more in Tuesday's 5 Questions. Casilla, the former Minnesota Twin, will likely get first crack at the job now that Robert Andino was traded to Seattle. Veteran Brian Roberts is attempting to come back from myriad physical issues to reclaim the job that was his for most of the last decade. He's 35 now and has played just 115 games in the past three seasons, so the club can't count on a full return at this point. But the team is hopeful Roberts can be a contributor.
