Coming off an ACL tear and an offseason spent in the thick of labor negotiations, the hometown corner has struggled feeling comfortable so far in camp. Few positions in all of sports are as difficult on the knees as playing corner, which requires players to make quick cuts and frequently change direction. First-round pick Jimmy Smith has missed most of camp due to a groin injury, but even when he returns the Ravens are going to need Foxworth to be available as a veteran, steadying force. While Ed Reed leads by example and is the soul of the secondary, Foxworth has the potential to be its brains if he can stay on the field.
