Favorite: Penn State The Nittany Lions (9-3) have won seven straight and can earn home-field advantage for the league tournament with a victory at either Delaware or Hofstra. Their defense ranks No. 2 in the nation in front of goalie Austin Kaut (.621 save percentage). Coach Jeff Tambroni is on the shortlist for national Coach of the Year. Contenders: Drexel, Hofstra I don't see Towson (7-6) as a primary threat in the league tournament. Drexel (9-3) is explosive with Crofton native Ryan Belka, Ben McIntosh, Robert Church and Frank Fusco. Hofstra (7-5) leads the nation in goals-against average and upset Notre Dame but has lost four of its past six games.
