Tim Shelton, Baltimore

This photo I took while my fiance and I were in Bali, doing a little traveling following a two year stint in the Peace Corps. The afternoon before, this beach was swarmed with local vendors and tourists of all types. We awoke very early to go scuba diving on the other side of the island. The peaceful sunrise and quiet waters created a beautiful ambiance, quite the opposite of our experience there just the day before. It was taken just about a year ago at the end of June, on Nusa Dua Beach in southern Bali.
