Chipotle is coming to Mid-Town/Belvedere

A <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP003227" title="Chipotle Mexican Grill" href="/topic/economy-business-finance/chipotle-mexican-grill-ORCRP003227.topic">Chipotle Mexican Grill</a> is going into one of the ground-floor retail spaces at Twelve09, the condominium complex at 1209 N. Charles St. in Mid-town/Belvedere. The store will be sandwiched in between a Subway and the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP014398" title="Starbucks Corp." href="/topic/economy-business-finance/starbucks-corp.-ORCRP014398.topic">Starbucks</a>. This will be the first Chipotle for the neighborhood, and the  presence of goody-goody Mexican grill is typically seen as a boon for a neighborhood. Chipotle was the most preferred limited-service restaurant among consumers ages 16-to-24 surveyed in a recent study by the Boston-based L.E.K. Consulting.
