Concert news: Chris Brown brings his F.A.M.E. Tour to 1st Mariner Sept. 28; plus shows from John Legend, Zac Brown Band

Chris Brown will bring his F.A.M.E. Tour to 1st Mariner Arena on Wednesday, Sept. 28. Kelly Rowland, T-Pain and Young Money rapper Tyga will open the show for the R&B star.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. and you can get them at livenation.com, Ticketmaster outlets, the 1st Mariner Arena or by phone (800-745-3000).

Brown will also be at the Verizon Center later this Fall. He last performed in Baltimore at Sonar for his Fan Appreciation tour in December 2009.

Update: Also, John Legend will perform at the new Fillmore in Silver Spring September 17. The show comes two days after Mary J. Blige opens the new venue

Legend last performed in the region as the opener on Sade's tour. Tickets for the show, starting at a whopping $69.50, go on sale Friday.

It was also announced Monday Zac Brown Band will perform at Jiffy Lube Live October 15.

Tickets, starting at $31, go on sale Friday. The country band headlined the Preakness Infield last year.

Update 2: Dustin Wong, Eachothers, Jonathan Badger, and Winks will perform at the Windup Space Thursday. The hastily announced show starts at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $7.Wong was profiled in the Sun earlier this year.

The Fillmore is now courting the teen heartthrob demographic. On Tuesday, it was announced Joe Jonas and Jay Sean would perform at the new venue October 5. Tickets, starting at $45, go on sale Friday.
