Ravens starting inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe has a sprained right ankle and back injury that has sidelined him for two consecutive practices as the team prepares for the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.

Ellerbe isn't practicing again today. The AFC champions worked inside at their indoor training facility in Owings Mills.

Meanwhile, tight end Dennis Pitta (thigh), who got decked in the AFC championship game by New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo before catching a touchdown on the ensuing play, is dressed and not practicing today after being limited Thursday.

The following players were also limited Thursday: defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (knee), wide receiver David Reed (hamstring) and cornerback Asa Jackson (hamstring).

Participating fully Thursday: outside linebackers Terrell Suggs (right Achilles tendon, torn right biceps) and Albert McClellan (shoulder), wide receivers Anquan Boldin (bruised left shoulder) and Tandon Doss (sprained ankle), strong safeties Bernard Pollard (ribs) and James Ihedigbo (knee), inside linebacker Ray Lewis (right triceps), free safety Ed Reed (torn shoulder labrum), offensive guard Marshal Yanda (right shoulder), fullback Vonta Leach (right knee, ankle), defensive end Pernell McPhee (thigh), nose guard Terrence Cody (foot), cornerback Jimmy Smith (sports hernia surgery) and rookie running back Bernard Pierce (bone bruise right knee).
