The game, held by the Washington state chapter of US Lacrosse, was the first-ever Division I contest in the state.
Kevin Cooper led the Terrapins, the national runners-up the past two seasons, with three goals and two assists. Starting goalie Nick Amato finished with six saves.
Gilman grad Holman named lone UNC captain
Holman is the first solo captain of the Tar Heels since 1990. He was a tri-captain as a junior.

Holman had one of the most outstanding seasons in program history in 2012 as he totaled 39 goals and 35 assists for 74 points, the third-most ever by a Tar Heel. He was named All-ACC last year and a second-team USILA All-America. In 2010, he was tapped as the ACC Freshman of the Year.
"It was clear from the start of the fall season that Marcus Holman would again lead our program as captain for the 2012-13 academic year," Breschi said. "He has certainly earned the respect of his teammates as a leader by example both on and off the field with his tremendous work ethic and contagious energy to perform at the highest level."
Heim orally commits to
Junior midfielder-attackman Matt Heim of Central Bucks East High in Doylestown, Pa., has orally committed to Loyola, the school announced via Twitter on Friday.
According to PhillyLacrosse.com, Heim played at the club level for Mesa Fresh 2014 and
"Loyola has a great reputation academically, and since they are moving to the Patriot League it makes it a great option to play high-quality lacrosse and get a great education at the same time," Heim told PhillyLacrosse.com. "[Assistant] Coach [Dan] Chemotti, [assistant coach Matt] Dwan and head coach [Charley] Toomey are class guys who put together a great program at Loyola. I am looking forward to playing under them and everything Loyola has to offer."
